Ahmed Abou Hashima

Ahmed Abou Hashima (born 11 January 1975 in Cairo) is an Egyptian businessman. He is one of the top Steel-manufacturing businessmen in Egypt, CEO of Egyptian Steel〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Egyptian Steel - Home )〕 Group, which comprises three companies – NPSS (National Port Said Steel), IIC (Industrial Investment Company) and Egyptian Steel for Building Materials Trading.
==Background==
Ahmed Abou Hashima is the CEO of the Cairo-based Egyptian Steel Group, which he co-founded in 2010. A self-made global entrepreneur, Abou Hashima has worked in the steel industry since 1996. By the end of 2016 Egyptian Steel and its subsidiaries will be producing 20–25 percent of Egypt's steel supply, Egyptian Steel produces durable, high-quality steel using efficient, innovative techniques and with an eye towards energy efficiency, one of Abou Hashima's long-time top priorities. Egyptian Steel uses state-of-the-art and eco-friendly technologies where possible in order to conserve and increase availability of energy in Egypt.
In 2013, Abou Hashima began working on developing the idea of his envisioned Dream Project,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Man of steel: Egypt’s new titan of industry )〕 a full industrial complex created on 3.8-plus miles of land in Egypt that will foster a large number of small- and medium-sized industries, as well as steel, cement and fertilizer factories. The project aims to attract foreign investors and boost Egypt's economy, creating about 300,000 jobs and involving a total of $10 billion in local and foreign investments.
